"Everyone Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouth"
Here is a great quote from Mike Tyson. I have heard this quoted a lot in the last few years. Tyson even came out of retirement last year for a match with Roy Jones Jr. He is considered one of the hardest punchers and scariest boxers of all time.
This quote is a perfect summary of life. You can make all the plans that you want, but you could get punched by life and have to change all of your plans suddenly. I think the punch is a hardship or reality hitting you in the face.
The funny thing about this quote is that it comes from before his Holyfield fight where he lost. His plan obviously didn’t work as he intended. This is the infamous fight where Tyson bit off a part of Holyfield’s ear in the 11th round.
