Lamenting Paper

I am always happy to see a new supply of laminating paper come into our office.  I use it fairly regularly, but it always seems to be used up.  For a while, I was the only one ordering it, but Danny recently bought a lot.

Laminating paper is the plastic layer you can put on paper.  You put your paper inside the laminating paper and run it through the laminating machine.  The laminating machine heats up the adhesive, sticking the clear plastic coating to the paper.

In Korea, laminating is often called coating.  So, instead of a laminating machine, we have a coating machine.  I am also not sure if laminating paper is the correct English term either.  It might be laminating film or laminating pouch.

On the other hand, lamenting is when you express your sadness or regret.  Complaining, crying, and moaning can all be forms of lamentation.  In this picture, the paper is lamenting about being a tree.  It makes it sad.
